$1 Million Settlement: Hwy 126 Head-On Collision

$1 Million Settlement — Hwy 126 Head-On Collision

No items found.

After a violent head-on collision on Highway 126, the attorney’s client suffered a severe left calcaneal (heel) fracture, a painful and complex injury that left them unable to walk without extensive surgical repair.

While medical records and imaging confirmed the seriousness of the injury, they didn’t fully convey the extent of the trauma or the complexity of the surgery required to repair it. The attorney needed a way to help the jury clearly visualize what their client had endured.

We developed a patient-specific 3D surgical animation illustrating the Left Calcaneus ORIF (Open Reduction and Internal Fixation) procedure. The animation showed:

1. The detailed fracture pattern of the heel bone

2. The surgical exposure and realignment of the calcaneus

3. The placement of metal plates and screws to stabilize the bone

In just seconds, the visuals turned a dense, technical medical story into a clear and persuasive demonstration.

When presented, the animation provided an unmistakable picture of the injury’s severity and the complexity of the repair.

“I think the animation made a big difference!"

The clarity it brought to the case helped the attorney secure a $1 million settlement for their client.

This case shows how accurate surgical animations can amplify the impact of medical evidence, helping attorneys communicate complex injuries with precision and emotional clarity, ultimately leading to stronger outcomes.
